Right now, the PREVAIL clinical research study is enrolling adults with irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D). Researchers are testing an investigational drug to learn if it may become a future treatment option.
You may qualify to participate in this study if you:
Are an adult aged 18 to 75 years
Have abdominal (belly)
Have frequent diarrhea
All study-related medication and care will be at no cost to you.
Your total participation may be up to
19 weeks, and you’ll have 8 study visits
during that time.
Taking Part - step by step
Step 1: Learn more: Talk to the study doctor or staff to learn more about the study and find out if you qualify to schedule a screening visit.
Step 2: Get Screened: At the study clinic, the study team will ask you questions about your health and run tests to see if you meet the requirements to join the study. They’ll also answer any
questions you have about the study.
Step 3: Take part: If you qualify and decide to join the study, you’ll begin making regular visits to the study clinic and start receiving study treatment. The staff will work with you to
find convenient times for these visits.
Step 4: Follow Up: Your study doctor will check on you after your study treatment ends.
