COVID-19 Preventive Measures for Sundance Clinical Research, LLC

I want to personally update you on a topic that is on everyone’s mind - the coronavirus (COVID–19). I want to assure you that we are monitoring the situation closely to ensure the well-being of our patients and employees.  We know this is an evolving situation and want to share with you the various precautionary measures we are taking to continue to focus on keeping patients and employees safe and healthy.

We are closely monitoring the guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) regarding the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus.

Our focus is to ensure we meet study visit requirements and our subjects’ needs, while doing our part to keep everyone safe and healthy. Our plan is to see patients as required. If an outbreak is to occur, we will adapt to continue with study requirements with as little disruption as possible.  We do not foresee an interruption to study visits at this time.

Here’s what we’re doing:

 • We have enhanced our cleaning technique by using appropriate disinfectant that is known to be effective against the Coronavirus and are cleaning our office frequently throughout the day. We are paying special attention to high volume touch points such as patient chairs in our lobby, patient rooms, door handles, and restroom facilities, etc. Each examination room will be cleaned between patients.

• Seating will be as spacious as possible to give patients the maximum safe distance possible

• Additional hand sanitizers will be placed at all high-volume touchpoints, patient rooms and patient check in/out desk

• In addition, we are taking steps to ensure the welfare of our employees. This includes instructing employees who feel ill to stay home and consult their healthcare providers. We are also requiring all employees to be vigilant about frequent hand washing. If patients have an existing study appointment, we are reminding them to reschedule their visit if they are experiencing a cough with or without fever, while reassuring them that we are doing everything we can to promote a safe and healthy office environment.

Thank you for your continuing participation in the important medical research we do every day.
